Today is Veterans Day - and as many of you know, Veterans hold a special place in the psychedelic movement.

They’ve faced unfathomable circumstances, and so many return home carrying invisible wounds that modern medicine can’t often help. Psychedelics are providing some of them real relief - helping them reconnect, release trauma, and rebuild their lives.

When veterans share these stories, they break stigma faster than anyone else, opening the door for the world to take psychedelic healing seriously.

This past weekend I attended the Heroic Hearts Gala onboard the USS Hornet in Oakland and left feeling inspired. I believe the work Heroic Hearts is doing to help veterans and their loved ones heal by expanding access to psychedelic care is vital, and I hope you’ll consider supporting them this Veterans Day (more on that below).

As for what’s new for Portal…

We are dangerously close to launching a brand new membership site - hopefully before the end of the year.

Membership is what fuels our work, our growth, and our impact. It’s what is going to enable us to bring psychedelic education to millions more people, and our events to cities all over the world.

The launch will just be the beginning, but it will lay the foundation to create a membership program unlike anything else out there and scale our collective work in a meaningful way.

Last but not least, huge shoutout to Milica Radovic Mandic, Dennis Walker, and the Global Psychedelic Week team for bringing together over 200 partners from around the world last week for their inaugural gathering. We can’t wait to see how this continues to grow each year.
